Who we are:

We own Goettsch Funeral Home. I (Kevin) came to work for the Goettsch Brothers in October of 1974, and purchased the business from them in October of 1982. Since we purchased the business Annette has become the CEO. Her business is to keep us in business. We have 2 children, Britt and Jillian. Britt and his new wife Mikinzie, have moved back to Monticello. He is a police officer here in Monticello. Jillian is at the University of Iowa where she is a premed major.

Jon Scranton- Funeral Director

New to our staff is Jon Scranton, a Funeral Director, living in Anamosa. Jon graduated from the Solon High School, Solon, Iowa. He graduated from Upper Iowa in Fayette where he atttended on a football scholarship. He then graduated from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago, Illinois. Jon and his wife Amy have a daughter, Ava, 2, and a son, Austin, born Feb., 2007 and another son, Hudson, born April 4, 2008.
