We own Goettsch Funeral Home. I (Kevin) came to work for the Goettsch Brothers in October of 1974, and purchased the business from them in October of 1982. Annette is CEO and her business is to keep us in business. We have two grown children. Britt is a police officer in Monticello where he and his wife Mikinzie live. Jillian is at the University of Iowa where she is majoring in PreMed and Biology. Jillian is also on staff and helps when she is on college break.

 Also on staff is Jon Scranton, a Funeral Director, living in Anamosa. Jon graduated from the Solon High School, Solon, Iowa. He graduated from Upper Iowa in Fayette which he atttended on a football scholarship. Following service in the Marine Corp, Jon graduated from the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Chicago, Illinois. Jon and his wife Amy have a daughter, Ava, and a son, Austin, born Feb., 2007. Their son, Hudson, was born April 4, 2008.

Randy helps keep our organization running as well as assisting with our preneed insurance program. Randy's wife is Toni and they have a daughter Ashley and a son Jason. Jason is married to Kelly Ries Dettbarn. They have a daughter, Lauren, and a son, Kade.

Jim Von Behren, (Funeral Assistant)

Jim started working for us while he was still in high school. We appreciate his continued service and dedication to our families. Jim has a lively black lab named Tucker.

Mikinzie is a welcome addition to our staff. She comes to us with a background in finance and insurance. As office manager Mikinzie takes care of funeral service details and the day to day operations of our business.

Donna Schneider (Monument Service) Contact Donna@goettschonline.com

Donna works with all our families on their monument needs. Donna makes all of the families she works with feel comfortable and satisfied with their monument selection.
