Andrea Berggren-Gerdes, 51, of Anamosa, IA, Passed on September 20 ^th , 2021 at Mercy Medical Center of natural causes. Close family and friends will be gathering Friday September 24, 2021 to have a celebration of life. Andrea Jo Berggren was born in Waterloo, IA on September 24 ^th , 1969, the daughter of James and Rita (Kammerdiner) Dickhoff. She attended High School at East High in Waterloo and went on to attend Hawkeye Community College.

Over the years she has worked hard as a cook and in her younger years a CNA. She was also a devout and caring mother. She enjoyed spending time walking through the park and enjoying the nature views, fishing, camping, playing cards, trivia, and going to local festivals. She was also very fond of decorating for holidays and birthdays to enjoy with her loved ones.

She is survived by her Fiancé, Christopher MacPherson, her daughters Jamee Berggren, Brandee Gerdes, and Ivy Cornellier all of Anamosa. Stepdaughter MacKenzie Whitaker of Marion, Grandsons James Kelley and Atticus Edinger. Stepfather Gerald Leahy, Stepsister Kim (Steve) Jacobson, Uncle Paul Kammerdiner.

She is Preceded in death by her Parents James and Rita Dickhoff, her Aunt Eleanor Wilson, Aunt Judy Kammerdiner, Cousin Steve Wilson

She will be remembered for her great love of family and friends, her sense of humor and love for adventure.
