Ashley Gartland, 39, died Thursday November 27, 2025, at her home in Anamosa.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where friends may call after 10:00.

Surviving is her daughter Brookelyn (Myles Tiernan) her parents, Chris (Randy) Van Amburg and Leon Gartland  a long time friend Heather Heister. She was preceded by 2 brothers, Joey and Travis.

Ashley Ann Gartland was born June 27, 1986, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Leon and Chris Parker Gartland.  Ashley graduated from the Monticello Community Schools with the class of 2004.  She attended Columbia Southern University.  Ashley had been employed at Echo Vision and Future Foam in Monticello.  She was currently driving for Door Dash.

Ashley loved music, doing makeup and hair, bowling and cooking.   She loved to go for a drive all over the area.
