Barbara Osterkamp,77 died early Sunday morning, June 29, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 Thursday morning July 3, 2025, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa with interment in the Cass Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 until 11:00 on Thursday.
Surviving are 2 children, Lori Osterkamp and Russell (Connie) Osterkamp 6 grandchildren, Makaila, Sophia, Alicia, Koree, Allen, and Andrew, her brother Galen (Diane) Capron and special friend Robert Clark.  She was preceded by 2 sisters, Judy Harms and Wanda Mull.

Barbara Kay Capron was born June 11, 1948, at Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of Garland and Marion Siebels Capron. She graduated from the Olin, Iowa schools.  Barb married Ronald Osterkamp January 27, 1967, at the United Methodist Church, Anamosa.   The couple operated a dairy farm near Anamosa.  Barb had worked at Collins Radio and Polo Plastics.  Her last job was cooking at the Cedar Valley Ranch in Vinton.
She enjoyed fishing and camping with friends.  She also loved to cook, bake and garden.
