Brandon Heskett, 45, of Anamosa, died Friday, November 1, 2024, at Mechanicsville Specialty Care in Mechanicsville.

His life will be honored with a gathering of remembrance at 3p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Wapsi Country Club, located at 21309 Co Rd E34 in Anamosa. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Please use the Guestbook to share your thoughts, memories, and condolences with his family.

Brandon Dean Heskett was born on January 9, 1979, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Kelly and Julie (Horn) Heskett. Attended school in Anamosa and graduated from Anamosa High School in the Class of 1997.

His kind soul is cherished by his parents Kelly and Glenice Heskett, his brother Bill Heskett, his grandparents Wally and Phyllis Horn and Ruth Kray, his special cousins Tammy and Tom Bervid, and Carrie and Todd Powell, and his close friends Glenda Morse and Mark Exe.

He is now reunited with his mother Julie, grandparents Bev Horn and Bill Kray, special uncles and aunt, Kenny Heskett, Chuck Heskett, and Gloria "Chub" Kula.

The family would like to thank the staff of Jones County Community Services – Lucia, Cindy, and especially his social worker Nancy, who Brandon considered to also be his friend. They also thank staff of Mechanicsville Specialty Care, as well as the staff of Care Initiatives Hospice, for the wonderful care and compassion he received.
