Carla Diane Barnes, 73, died Saturday, August 15, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa has taken Carla and her family into their care. Surviving is her husband, Kerry three children, Jennifer, Linda and Michael 7 grandchildren and siblings, Bobby Barker, Danny Barker and Susanne Vodopich.

Carla Diane Barker was born on December 5, 1952 in Kentucky, the daughter of Robert and Janette Hartwig, Barker. She attended the Tama, Iowa Schools. Carla had been employed at Collins Radio and Verizon in Cedar Rapids. Carla and Kerry Barnes were married at the Anamosa Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and playing bingo in her spare time.
