Christina Marie Yeo, 46, of Central City, passed away on Saturday, July 8th, 2023. Services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at Christ Community Church (3000 Alburnett Road, Marion, IA.) The family will greet friends from 9 am to the time of service. Susan Briley will officiate the services. Burial will immediately follow services and luncheon at Forest Chapel Cemetery, rural Anamosa. Christina is survived by her husband, Jack, of 28 years; three children, Damien (Tori) Yeo of Central City, Tiffany Yeo of Cedar Rapids, and Brendan Yeo of Central City; her grandchildren, Jayda, Adrian, Hadley, Brendan Jr. and one on the way, all of Central City;,her mother, Virginia Chavez of Marion, her grandmother, Verlynne Brown of Marion, two sisters, Janice (Greg) Schmelzer of Marion, April (Jeff) Ohlhauser of Marion, one brother, David Port of Springville; aunt Julie (Jerry) Brandt of Central City; along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Richard Brown.

Christina Marie Brown was born November 22, 1976, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Virginia (Brown) Chavez. Christina and Jack were united in marriage on June 17th, 1995, in Marion, Iowa. She graduated from Kaplan University with her Associate's degree and was employed as a medical assistant at Mercy Medical Center in Marion. She previously worked in Cedar Rapids and Tucson, AZ.

She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and reading, but primarily treasured spending time with her family and friends - especially her grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by those who knew her best.
