Connie Thomas age 68, died unexpectedly on Monday, June 10, 2019 at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 in the reception hall at the Farm Bureau Building in Anamosa from 10 until 12 noon.  Burial will follow at the Green Center Cemetery, rural Morley with Carla Burge officiating.

Surviving her daughter Traci (Ian) Melville, Anamosa, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, her sister Carol Easterly, Anamosa, 2 brothers, Jerry (Sarah) Easterly, Maquoketa, Clayton Easterly, Anamosa.  She was preceded in death by her Parents, her daughter Amber Thomas Cudahy, and 2 siblings, Robert and Marsha.

Connie Irene Easterly was born May 3, 1951 at Anamosa, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Robert and Irene Folkers, Easterly.   She received her education in the Olin Schools, graduating with the class of 1969.     Connie married Edward Thomas on August 4, 1972 at the United Methodist Church, Anamosa.  The couple later divorced.

Connie worked at Doer Electric in Anamosa.  She did in home day care for many years as well.   She had been employed at Med-Plast in Monticello in more recent  years and retired from there in October of 2018.

Connie enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and adult coloring books.
