Curtis Dunlap,72, of Manchester and formerly of Hopkinton, died Sunday morning, February 18, 2024, at University Hospital, Iowa City following a battle with cancer.

Surviving is his wife, Linda, 3 children, Joseph (Michelle) and 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Madison, Cyndi, Eloise and Flannagan, Johnathan and granddaughter Sidney, Sean Dunlap, 3 sisters, Vivian Thompson, Wanda (David) Klaren, Wendy Dunlap.
He was preceded by his parents, 9 siblings, Sandra Dunlap, Ruth Anne Bacon, Kevin, Anthony, Kenneth, Richard, Clyde, Terry, and Craig Dunlap.
Curtis Allen Dunlap was born November 30, 1951, at the Willett Maternity Hospital, Manchester. He was the son of Clyde and Mary Maude Cornell, Dunlap. Curtis graduated from the Maquoketa Valley schools in 1970. He attended Harbor College in Los Angeles for 2 years. Curtis married Linda Berry at Peace Lutheran Church, Ryan, Iowa on June 8, 1973. The couple lived in California where Curtis worked in the construction business placing granite on commercial buildings.
