Cynthia Eggert, 67, died Friday, February 7, 2025 at Finley Hospital, Dubuque following a brief illness

There are no services scheduled at this time, Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa has taken Cynthia and her family into their care.

Surviving are 3 children, Nicole (Cory) McBride, Lacy (Jacob) Smothers, Cody (Shannon) Pearson, her step-father Ralph Weers, and siblings, Sheryl Rohrer, Gregg , Kevin and Joe Eggert, and Lori Hicks, 6 grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

She was preceded by her parents and a brother Tom.

Cynthia Jean Eggert was born January 23, 1958 at Marengo, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Charles and Frances Tabor, Eggert. Cynthia attended the Anamosa Community Schools. She worked at Woody's Café in Anamosa. Cynthia married Phillip Pearson, September 22, 1983.  The couple later parted ways in 1998.
