Daniel Rose, 90, of Hopkinton Iowa passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, December 21, 2024, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Hopkinton with interment in the Hopkinton Cemetery.  Fr. Paul Baldwin will officiate at the services.

Friends may call from 10 until 11 at the church on Saturday morning.  Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello has taken Dan and his family into their care.

Dan is survived by 5 Children, 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, and one son.

He was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan who never missed a game. He enjoyed being outdoors, he thought the farm was the most peaceful place on Earth. Dan was notoriously frugal with himself and generous with others. He loved to talk to anyone who would listen, often embellishing on every story he told.
