Danielle Drake age 38, died suddenly, Thursday, March 17, 2022 at her home in Monticello.

A life celebration service will be held 1:30 Friday afternoon, March 25, 2022 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello where visitation will be held from 11:00 until 1:00.

Surviving is her daughter Aveeon Drake, her mother, Lana Drake,  her brother Ben (Christie) Drake, nephew and niece Aaron and Natalie Drake, her grandmother, Frances Shackelford-Drake her uncles and aunts, Jeff (Anita) Drake, Alex (Kellie) Drake, Greg (Anna) Drake, Paul (Joann) Drake, Leighton (Gerrie) Phillips, Jr. and Dwight Phillips.   She was preceded in death by her, father Daniel, and grandparents, Darrell Drake, Leighton and Betty Phillips, Sr.

Danielle Marie Drake was born June 27, 1983 at Manchester, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Daniel and Lana Phillips, Drake.

Danielle graduated from the Maquoketa Valley Community Schools in 2001.   She then went on to Hawkeye Tech where she studied photography.    Danielle was currently employed at Famous Footwear in Dubuque where she was the manager.

She loved being creative, with her photography, painting or crafts.  She loved and embraced life every day. Especially time spent with Aveeon and the rest of her family.
