Donald Bartlett, 72, died Wednesday November 4, 2026, at his home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Wednesday morning, November 11, 2026, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Pastor Catherine Newhall will officiate at the service. Friends may call after 10:00 at the funeral home.

Surviving is his wife Robyne, his children, Ronnie (Nikki), Amy May, a stepdaughter, Brenda (Steve) Welter, his granddaughter, Piper and sibllings, Karen, Dave, Theresa, and Keith. He was preceded by his parents.

Donald Warren Bartlett was born April 4, 1954, at Cedar Rapids, Iowa the son of Kenneth and Betty Lou Bartlett.

Don graduated from Linn-Marr High School with the class of 1971. He took up his lifelong profession as a mechanic. He had worked at Junge Chevrolet and Pontiac in Anamosa. As he transitioned to be a heavy diesel mechanic, he worked at Hawkeye International and Wholesale Repair. Don married Robyne Knight in 1990 at Vinton, Iowa.

Don enjoyed watching TV especially all the different news channels, and tinkering in his garage.
