Elsie Chapman age 85, died Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at her home following a sudden illness.

Surviving is one son Steve (Marcie) Chapman, 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, her sister Jannette Weets and her special friend,  Paul Schmidt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, her daughter, Joyce Parmenter her  grandson Josh Parmenter and 5 siblings, Lily, Laura, Bill, Alice and Melvin.

Elsie Margaret Chapman was born December 22, 1936 at Cascade, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Earl and Anna (Kramer) Wall.  She graduated from the Cascade High School in 1954.   Elsie married Robert Chapman on July 30, 1956 at the Cascade Presbyterian Church.   The couple made their home in Monticello.   Robert preceded her in death on June 20, 2005. Elsie was a life long member of the Presbyterian Church.
