Georgia Kuhns, 96, died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Linn Manor Care Center, Marion, Iowa.
Private family graveside services will be held at the Wayne Zion Cemetery.  Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello has taken Georgia and her family into their care.
Surviving are her children, Tim (Patricia) Kuhns, Laurel (Phil) Lewis, and 3 grandchildren Kirk Tedrow, Kyle Kuhns and Carrie Kuhns, Helgeson.  She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Galen, a daughter Gail and her siblings, Eilvin and Ellen.
Georgia Ann Grabbe was born September 19, 1928, at Anamosa, Iowa the daughter of Carl and Emma Westphal Grabbe. Georgia graduated from the Anamosa Community Schools.  She married Galen Kuhns December 12, 1947.  He would precede her in death in 1971.   Georgia worked a Spahn and Rose Lumber yard for over 20 years retiring in 1988.
