Gerald Rogers age 65, formerly of Flippin, AR died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home in Center Junction, Iowa following a sudden illness. There will be no services at this time, Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, Iowa has taken Gerald and his family into their care.

Gerald Dean Rogers was born November 21, 1954 at Harrison, AR. the son of Rex and Gladys Friend, Rogers.   He attend the Yellville schools before going to work in the family sawmill.  He married Etta Simmons on July 10, 1982 at Amber, Iowa.  The couple left the Flippin community and moved to Center Junction in April of 2019.

Surviving is his wife Etta, 2 sons, James (Nicole) Simmons and Mitchell Rogers, 4 grandchildren Veronica, Nicholas, Brittany and Abigail, and a brother Larry (Phyllis) Rogers.
