Glenda Ridenour, 69, died Monday October 20, 2025, at University Hospital Downtown Campus, Iowa City.
There will be no services at this time.  Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello has taken Glenda and her family into their care.
Surviving are two children, Travis and Tara (Dustin) Aulwes, 2 grandchildren Paige and Ryan, her sister Marla (Dan Colton) Wernimont and her niece Chantal Dreyer.  She was preceded by her parents and a brother Bradley.
Glenda Kay Carpenter was born in North Carolina on May 1, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Florence Bond, Carpenter.   She graduated from the Maquoketa Valley Schools in 1975.
Glenda had and extensive and varied employment record. Spahn and Rose Lumber in Hopkinton, Brad Co, Lewis Systems, Bacon Scrap Metal, Energy Manufacturing, McCloud, NCS, Pat's Jack and Jill, and Rocky Nook.
When she wasn't working, she enjoyed Crosswords, Solitaire, both on the computer and with cards.  She especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.
