Harold Luchtenburg age 89, died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at his home with his family by his side.

Surviving is his wife Janice, 5 children, Rick (Cindy), Brian, Jeff and Steven Luchtenburg and Lisa (Eric) Epley, 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and 2 sisters, Violet Brinkman and Viola Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 children, Cynthia, Eric and Michael, 3 grandsons, Jake, Mitchell and Jonathan and 3 brothers George, John and Melvin.

Harold Roy Luchtenburg was born May 12, 1932 at Waverly, Iowa.  He was the son of George and Tina Frey, Luchtenburg. Harold received his education in the Allison, Iowa Schools.

He married Jane Crowley on November 18, 1955 and the couple had eight children together before divorcing. He was employed by Bantam and Terex in Waverly and Clay Equipment in Cedar Falls.

Harold and Janice Parks-Fall were married on February 23, 2007. The couple resided in Anamosa.
