James (Jim) Francis Brady, 65, passed away in his home on Sunday, July 28, 2024.  A graveside service was held at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Anamosa, Iowa at 11 a.m. on August 5, 2024.

Jim was born September 16, 1958.  On October 18, 1958, he was adopted by Francis and Wilma Brady. Jim graduated from Anamosa High School in 1977.  He lived most of his adult life in the Minneapolis, Minnesota and Casper, Wyoming areas.  He worked in the food service industry and in correctional services with lots of stories to tell about his adventures.

In December 2021, he returned to Anamosa, where he purchased his childhood home.

Jim's mother, Wilma Schrader passed away April 14, 1978. Frank remarried Nadine Moran. Jim's father, Francis, passed away March 28, 1988, and his stepmother, Nadine, passed away May 20, 2021.

He is survived by many cousins.
