Jane Stiffler age 77, died Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home following a sudden illness.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Friday morning, November 19, 2021 at Peace United Church of Christ, Monticello with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery.  Friends may call from 4 until 7 Thursday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello.  Pastor Frank Shepherd will officiate at the services.   Masks are recommended but not required.

Surviving  4 sons, Dennis (Pam) , Scott , Will (Korri) , Zebb (Jennifer) ,11 grandchildren, Sarah, David, Jason, Bryant, Lucas, Alex, Kinsey, Nicholas, Tyler, Amelia and Emma, a great-grandson Renley, 5 siblings, Joann Malley, Joyce Hill, Susan (Marty) Miller, Shirley Zumbrunnen and Steve Zumbrunnen, and 3 brothers-in-law, Clifford Bickel, Paul Stiffler, Colin (Carol) Stiffler.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Matt in 2001 and husband Russell in 2018, 2 sisters Judy Bickel and Sharon Zumbrunnen and a brother-in-law Keith Stiffler.

Jane Ann Zumbrunnen was born December 24, 1943 at the John McDonald Hospital, Monticello, Iowa.   She was the daughter of  Harold and Helen Zeadow, Zumbrunnen.  Jane graduated from the Monticello Community Schools with the class of 1961.   Jane worked as a waitress and also at Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids. Jane married Russell Stiffler on April 30, 1966 at Peace United Church of Christ.    She was a stay-at-home mom for many years raising her 5 sons.  She returned to the working force doing Day Care in her home and later working in housekeeping at the Anamosa Care Center.

She loved her time spent with family, doing sewing, cross stich and crosswords as well as Yahtzee.
