Jeffrey Appleby, died Friday, February 21, 2025, at St. Lukes Hospital, Cedar Rapids.
Jeffrey Michael Appleby was born May 4, 1947, at Monticello, Iowa.  He was the son of John A. and Josephine Rigby, Appleby.
Jeff attended the Monticello Community Schools.  He worked at the Shomont Lumber Yard in Langworthy, until he enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Jeff obtained the rank of Sergeant while in the Army.   When he returned home, he worked for various construction companies in the area.
He is remembered by his son Michael and daughter Judy Allen, he was preceded in death by his parents and 10 siblings, Ernie, Joanne, Jeraldine, LeRoy, Jack, Jim, Janet, Judy, Jerry and Junior.
Celebration of Life will be held on July 12th from Noon to 4 p.m., at the Wapsipinicon State Park Rotary Lodge.
