John Allen Youngman, Jr. of Anamosa, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Mercy Medical Center, Iowa City.

John was born June 3, 1967, in Monticello, IA, the son of John Allen and Darlene (Hunter) Youngman Sr. John grew up in Anamosa and graduated from Anamosa High School in the Class of 1985. He married Treasa Littrel in 2004. The couple later divorced. John was employed as a machine operator at Cedar Poly, LLC in Tipton at the time of his death. He enjoyed hunting, attending the demolition derby in Blairstown, IA, and spending time with his grandchildren.

John was a son to John Allen Sr. and Darlene, a brother to Paul Youngman. Father to John Weston Youngman. Uncle to Kristen Youngman. Great uncle to Josh and Lucas Lankard. Loving grandfather to Weston John and Kingsley Faye Youngman.

Left to celebrate his life are his son and daughter-in-law John Weston and Amanda Youngman, Olin, stepsons Andrew Littrel, Marion and Anthony Littrel, Silverdale, WA, grandchildren Weston and Kingsley Youngman, Olin, his parents John Allen and Darlene Youngman Sr., Yuma, AZ, a brother Paul (Tammy) Youngman, Port Orchard, WA, a niece Kirsten Youngman, Homestead, FL, great nephews Josh and Lucas Lankard, Homestead, FL, and his best friend David "Buzz" Sturgeon, Anamosa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Weston and Babe Youngman, a stepdaughter Abigail Faye Littrel, and a great nephew Alex Lankard.
