Keith Roger Kouba, 76, of Anamosa, IA  passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer.

UPDATE: A joint service of Remembrance and Military Honors will be held for Keith Kouba and his mother, Virginia Kouba, at 11:00 on Friday September 20, 2024, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa. Pastor Holly Knouse will officiate at the services. The United States Navy and the United States Marine Corp and the Anamosa Veterans will accord Military Honors. Keith was born December 23, 1946 in Vinton, IA to Wilson and Virginia (Blocher) Kouba.  He graduated from Anamosa High School, Keith was united in marriage to Sandra Murphy on July 30, 1969.  They had two children together, Jennifer and Jason. Keith wed Becky Parks on June 24, 2006 and has two stepsons, Dan and John.

Keith served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and later re-enlisted in the Navy as a lieutenant. He graduated from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy and worked as a pharmacist at Kouba Pharmacy. Keith was active in the American Legion.

He enjoyed bowling, golfing, fishing, going to the gym, watching sports, and helping people. Keith will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and his community.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer and Jason; stepchildren, Dan and John; his brother Craig; his sister Mary, and many friends and family members who will miss him dearly. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and second wife, Becky Parks.
