Kenneth Webber, 94, of Monticello, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following a brief illness.
Private family services will be held at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello with interment in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Monticello. Rev. Kris Kincaid will officiate at the services. Surviving Kenneth are 4 children, Terry (Gail) Webber, Julie (Scott) Render, Carol (Scott) Cierzan, , Larry (Lisa Tarson)Webber, 6 Grandchildren, his brothers, James (Barb) Loras (Laura) Marvin (Joan).
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorothy and brothers, Claire, Larry, Matt, John, Carl, and an infant brother, LeRoy.
Kenneth Anthony Webber was born November 14, 1927 at Holy Cross, Iowa. He was the son of John T. and Gertrude Schmitt, Webber. Kenny graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1945. He then served in the United States Army during WWII. After his discharge from the Army, he married Dorothy Hanssen April 12, 1952, at Kirksville, Missouri. The couple made their home in Monticello.
Kenny was employed at Energy Manufacturing in Monticello. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. He loved playing golf and was an active member of the Monticello Golf Club.
