Lawrence Northen, 61, of Anamosa, died Tuesday December 6, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a short illness.

Lawrence Edward Northen was born February 16, 1961 in North Carolina, the son of Harold and Shirley (Tousley) Northen. He attened school in Fayetteville, North Carolina and graduated from high school in 1980. He owned his own construction company in Fayetteville. Following an injury he left his company and journeyed the country, eventually making his home in Anamosa. He married Julie Bahnsen on August 15, 2014 in Jones County.
