Lois Virginia Duffy went to heaven on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Services will be held at a later date with interment in the Riverside Cemetery, Anamosa.

Those left to cherish her memory are, 3 daughters, Lori Gibbs, Teri (Bob) Moynihan, Mary (Rob) Provine, 5 grandchildren, Robert (Megan) Moynihan, Ryan (Katie) Moynihan, Penny Provine, Ashleen (Lee) Baker, Alexandra (Shawn) Fearn, 10 great-grandchildren and her sister, Alma Marr.  Lois was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Terry McKeown and a brother, Norman Duffy.

Lois Virginia Duffy was born May 24, 1934 at Glenwood, Iowa.  She was the daughter of Harry LeRoy and Amy Lucille Piatt, Duffy.  She graduated from the Glenwood High School.  Lois moved to California at age 18 where she met and married James Camby III.

She worked in the office at Kransco Manufacturing Company . Following a divorce from Mr. Camby, Lois owned a book store in Burlingame, CA.

She married James McKeown in 1987 and they operated  Bogie's  Restaurant in San Mateo, California.  In 2006 she moved to Anamosa to help take care of her great-grandchildren.

Lois was a loving and caring, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family.
