Lynn Kuhns, 82, died suddenly at his home on Monday evening, July 21, 2025.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 Friday afternoon August 1, 2025, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello where friends may call after 12 Noon. Deacon Ed Goldsmith will officiate at the services.
Surviving is his wife, Kay, children, Penny (Doug) Glanz, Jeff (Lana) Martin 5 grandchildren and his sister Kathy (Joe) McDonell.  He was preceded by his parents a brother, John, a son Kurt Martin.
Lynn Richard Kuhns was born July 17, 1943, in Jones County, Iowa, the son of Myron and Pauline Otten Kuhns.  He graduated from the Monticello Community Schools in 1961.  Lynn was employed as a parts man by Bohlken Motors in Scotch Grove and later at Standard Parts in Monticello and Freese Motors in Anamosa and Monticello.
Lynn liked to party at Scotch Grove and at the North Side in Monticello.  He also enjoyed playing golf at the Coon Hunters driving his Polaris Ranger around town and time spent with his grandsons.
