Robert Streeper age 70, died Saturday, December 1, 2018 at his home following a sudden illness

No services are planned at this time.

Surviving are 3 daughters, Marcella, Jennifer and Brenda Streeper all of Cedar Rapids, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 8 siblings, Bonnie, Sharon, Linda, Susan, Lois, Steve, Jerry and Dick.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Judy.

Robert Leroy Streeper was born May 13, 1948 at Monticello, Iowa.   He was the son of Elmer and Esther Brokaw, Streeper.   Robert grew up in the Center Junction, Onslow and Wyoming area where he attended the Midland Schools.   He went on to serve in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Robert married Verna Walton in 1968.  The couple later divorced.   He was employed at Wilson Foods and Farmstead Foods in Cedar Rapids.   For 14 years he worked at the Salvation Army doing maintenance.
