Ronald Yarrington , age 64, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Oldorf Hospice House, Hiawatha following an illness of several months.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 Saturday morning, February 23, 2019 at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa with interment in the Rose Hill Cemetery.   Friend may call from 4 until 8 Friday at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family and left at the funeral home or sent to Crystal Lemmons, PO Box 178 Springville, Iowa 52336

Surviving are 2 children, Crystal (Will ) Lemmons, Springville, Cody (Christina) Marsh, Kansas City, MO., 8 grandchildren, Brandi, Autumn-Rain, Ashley , Savanah Fae, Bailey, Toni, Stella Vianna, the love of his life, Deb Yarrington,  a sister, Brenda Morris, 2 brothers, Jim Yarrington, Daniel (Tricia) Coglan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 infant daughters, Amy and Amy a grandson Bubba and 2 brothers, Rod and Skeeter Yarrington.

Ronald Len Yarrington was born October 1, 1954 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  He was the son of James and Wanda Rigley Yarrington.  He grew up in the Cedar Rapids and Marion area.  Ron served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his return from service he lived in the Mechanicsville and Clarence Communities.    Ron was self-employed most of his working life, as a mechanic and also in the scrap metal business.
