Shane Wedlund, 50, died suddenly, Thursday, September 19, 2024 at University Hospitals, Iowa City.
Private family services will be held at a later date.

Surviving is his brother, Bernard Wedlund, Jr., Springville, and an aunt Vicki Kral, Monticello.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Shane Morgan Wedlund was born February 2, 1974, at Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Bernard and Phyllis Williams, Wedlund. Shane completed his education at the Mount Vernon, Iowa Schools.  Health problems kept him from having a regular job, but he was always willing to help anyone that he could.
