Walter Smith age 49, died Saturday, April 6, 2019 at his home following a sudden illness.

A celebration of Walters life will be held in Las Vegas at a later date.  Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello has taken Walter into their care.

Walter Wayne Smith was born March 20, 1970 in Frankfurt, Germany.  He was the son of Leslie and Barbara Freeman, Smith.  He graduated from the American Schools in Germany.  In 1990 he moved to Las Vegas where he worked for Nzuri and later at the 7up distributor in Las Vegas.   He moved to Iowa in 2012 working at Lowes, J& P Cycles and Bennett Machine in Anamosa.

Walter is survived by a brother, Leslie (Jennifer) of Las Vegas.
