Mary Frasher age 67, died Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Hospice of the Valley, Gardner Home, in Phoenix following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 Saturday morning, August 8, 2015 at St. Patricks Catholic Church, Anamosa where friends may call after 9:30. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa is caring for Mary and her family. She is survived by a niece, Pam (Bill) Gates, Phoenix, AZ., a nephew, Jerry (Kristy) Frasher, Anamosa, and a sister-in-law, Marlene Frasher, Marion. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a brother John and his first wife, Diane. Mary was born February 13, 1948 in Anamosa, Iowa. She was the daughter of Thomas and Amy (Jamison) Frasher. Mary graduated from the Anamosa Community Schools in 1966. Mary helped her parents on the farm, also assisted her mother when she was catering, and loved to spend time with or talking about her great-nieces and -nephew. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
